报告摘要:Extended Reality (XR)-aided teleoperation has shown its potential in improving operating efficiency in mission-critical, rich-information and complex scenarios. The multisensory XR devices and robots introduce several new types of traffic with unique quality-of-service (QoS) requirements, which are expected to be addressed through 6G cellular connectivity. In this talk, I will first introduce our vision and testbed for the XR-aided teleoperation system under cellular connectivity. I will then present several novel machine-learning solutions designed for cellular-connected virtual reality/unmanned-aerial vehicle networks to guarantee these performance requirements. I will further introduce our works on wireless distributed learning for wider 6G applications, specifically time-triggered federated learning and hybrid split and federated learning. Lastly, I will introduce one future research direction on task/goal-oriented semantics-aware communications in 6G.
